Personal Essays

1. Write about something you care passionately about, not just something that happened that does't peak your interest.
2. Make it seem real, and don't use over used phrases. Show rather than telling.
3. You need to always have factual evidence (and double-check it), as well as, having more opinions that facts. On top of that, you need to make connections that the reader can relate too.
